medinCNO® is used as stationary nCPAP driver for the nCPAP therapy of neonates and premature infants treated in combination with the nCPAP generator Medijet® in intensive care units. medinCNO® may only be used in combination with simultaneous and constant hemodynamic monitoring of the patient, only by trained medical personnel and only during clinical use. The following modes are available: CPAP: medinCNO® offers a basic CPAP mode for neonates and premature infants including leackage compensation. Apnea CPAP: This mode combines the basic CPAP mode with apnea detection, alarming and a backup-function in case of apnea. SNIPPV: medinCNO® offers in this mode a CPAP based synchronized pressure support as well as apnea monitoring including backup function. Oszillation: In the oscillation mode medinCNO® creates a high frequency oscillation modulated to a basic CPAP

The products of medin® are produced in Germany. Located on the western outskirts of Munich, Germany, medin® has its own production plant, sales-, logistics- and development department. medin®’s nCPAP systems have been field-tested in many countries and are primarily sold via trained contractual partners. These partners can be found under the menu item “Contact – World-Wide Partners”. Registration of nCPAP devices has already be done in many countries.
